Microsoft unveiled the Windows 11 operating system a few days ago. At the same time, they have confirmed that all computers running Windows 10 will be able to upgrade to the new OS for free. However, it must have the necessary hardware configuration. Computers or laptops currently running Windows 10 that have a 64-bit ARM processor with a minimum of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage can be upgraded to the Windows 11 operating system for free. Microsoft first released a software called Windows PC Health Check on their website to check if Windows 11 would run on the computer. But now it has been removed. Although the stable version of Windows 11 has not come yet, you can still see the taste of Windows 11 through the developer preview version.

How to do it

First you need to go to the link http://www.insider.windows.com/en-us/getting-started and register for the Windows Insider program. When all the work is done, you go to PC Settings. Keep in mind, you must be logged in to the PC with the exact same account with which you are registering on the website. Updates will not come if another user is logged in.

From the Settings, go to the Update & Security > Windows Insider Program option and click on the Get Started option to follow the instructions. There, in the Pick Your Insider Settings option, select Dev channel / Beta channel. Then go to the Windows Update option and you will see that there is an option to upgrade to Windows 11.

In many cases results are not obtained by following this procedure. In this case, you first need to go to the BIOS Settings by pressing the function key from the keyboard when the computer is turned on. Then go to Options / Advanced tab and enable TPM. BIOS settings vary depending on the brand of the motherboard. But most computers have the option to turn this TMP on or off in the above settings. If you enable it, you can use Windows 11 without any problem.
