A statement from the company said that archived chat will allow users to prioritize their personal and important chats. WhatsApp has also announced that users will be able to keep some important and highly confidential chats in the 'Archive Chat' box instead of in their original inbox. This chat folder will not be displayed on the screen if users want to keep any special chats in the 'Archive Chat' folder.

WhatsApp said in another statement that millions of people use the platform as a personal and secure messaging app. This new feature will allow WhatsApp users to use the 'Archive Chat' folder as a private and secure chat from now on, allowing users to use WhatsApp with more security and privacy. If a user wants to retrieve their saved chats from this 'Archive Chat' folder, they can retrieve their messages from the 'Archive Chat' settings option to the main chat.
